About Us

Powering West Africa with sun, steel, and skill.

Volta Move Gambia is the West African arm of Volta Move Germany — a clean-energy engineering company building battery, mobility, and power systems made specifically for African conditions, climates, and communities.

WHY WE EXIST

The grid wasn't built for everyone. We're building what comes next.

Across The Gambia and the wider region, millions of people, businesses, and clinics live with unreliable power — or none at all. Diesel generators are loud, costly, and dirty. Imported solar kits often fail within a year because they weren’t built for this environment.

Volta Move was founded to close that gap. We engineer battery systems, UPS units, electric boats, and mobile powerhouses that survive the climate, are serviceable locally, and pay back fast. Every component is chosen to last — and every install comes with a service plan.

Sustainable energy isn't a luxury here. It's the foundation of everything that comes next.

What we stand for

Four principles, no shortcuts.

01

Engineered for Africa

Every system is designed and tested for high heat, dust, humidity, and unstable grids — not adapted from European specs.

02

Local Assembly

We don’t just import. Our Brufut facility assembles, configures, and services systems with Gambian engineers.

03

Honest Pricing

Transparent, all-inclusive quotes. No hidden import fees, no surprise service charges.

04

Long-term Partnership

We stay after the install — training, spare parts, and remote monitoring keep your system running for a decade or more.
